TOURNAMENT CATERING CONTRACT The following (pages 1 & 2) form part of the
Tournament and Catering Contract and by signatures, both the Client and St. Andrews by-the-Lake
agree to its content. St. Andrews by-the-Lake, (Strata K-180) hereafter known as the
Caterer, is a community owned facility and as such its bylaws, rules and
regulation where applicable, are binding on the booking client hereafter known as the Client and
their guests. 1. A $200.00 deposit is required
to confirm and lock in a booking date for each event and will be held as a damage deposit. 2. The
Client will confirm, to the Caterer, your menu selections fourteen (14) days in advance and the number of confirmed
golfers and guests attending dinner at least seven (7) days in advance of
the booked event. 3. The
Caterer will charge for Ninety-five percent of the confirmed number of guests or the actual number in attendance
whichever is the greater and will set up for ten percent (IO%) above the
confirmed number, should additional numbers attend. 4. Gratuities
are charged on the total of all food, beverage as stated in this contract. 5. Any major changes
to the original room set-up arrangement as stated in this contract must be
confirmed no later than 48 hours prior to the function date. 6. Alcoholic
beverages will be served on request and in accordance with British Columbia Liquor Board regulations and
according to the Caterer's liquor and health licenses and permits. 7. Over
consumption of alcoholic beverage by any person(s) attending this event is the sole responsibility of the
Client and their guests. Designated drivers are recommended and those so
designated and identified, will be served coffee free of charge throughout the
event. 8. The Client is responsible for
any damages to the premise, power carts, lands and buildings within the boundaries of Strata
K 180 however caused, by anyone attending this event. 9. The
Caterer is not responsible for damage to or loss of any articles, equipment or to vehicles of the guests or
others of the Client prior to, during, or following the event. 10. The golf course will remain
active during any event. Prior written approval to enter the course for any purpose by the
Client and their guests is required and will be restricted. Golfers and work
crews have the right of way. 11. The Lodge
at St. Andrews (excluding the deck area) is non-smoking, and will be enforced. 12. Starting
and ending times of all functions are to be adhered to. 13. Fire doors
must not be obstructed in any way at any time. 14. Cancellation
Policy: The deposit received upon confirmation of your booking date is non-refundable. 15. All
decorations/tournament signs or others arranged for by the Client must be removed as soon a possible following the
event. 16. Golf
functions, tournament polices and "conduct of play" are attached. The performance of this
agreement is contingent upon the ability of the Caterer to complete the contract, subject
to any external actions caused by others whether enumerated herein or not, which
prevents the Caterer from fulfilling their part of this agreement. Under no
circumstance shall the Caterer (Strata K-180) be liable for the loss of profit or other similar
consequential damage, whether based on breach of contract, warranty or otherwise. CLIENT(s) NAME
